What Really Split the Beatles

     No, don't blame Yoko.
     Nor Paul wanting his wings.
     Nor Ringo not being best.
Nor anything to do with George.
Nor the end of the 60s.

Want to know what really split the Beatles?
Paul did say there would be an answer,
     then recited the serenity prayer
with a big hole in the middle:
let it be : : words of wisdom.

     And in place of courage
     only still a chance,
     wishful thinking
     it might happen
     on its own.

     As I was saying,
     if we haven't love enough
     for all three, the acceptance
and the wisdom, the courage too,
what future might even we expect?
