Out the Cocoon

     Willing to let you lead the way, I played
          your aide
     long past last call, then stood and vowed
     from hell to heaven through godblasted earth
                    my berth
     would bed loves less befit my borrowed worth.

     I pimped yours, spoiled my own more rotten now.
     That's changed, yes. Still, I've not forgotten how
          your aid allowed my birth.
