One Won’t Get Out

      One won't get out.
            A closed door
      makes for a route
      one won't get out.
      It's not about
            what's gone out for.
      One won't get out
            a closed door
      one's not gone in.
            One won't get out
      past lovers' skin.
      One's not gone in
      to come out thin.
            To dream's redoubt
      one's not gone in.
            One won't get out.

back on on november 1 the current issue of tilt-a-whirl was released, containing a simple request asked of my doctors, a linked double triolet i’d written in october – a little dizzy over my ride on the tilt-a-whirl, this piece is an outtake from a scrap of paper used later that same day

doesn’t mean to say much, doesn’t go much of anywhere – like how i was at the time – like how the publication in tilt-a-whirl was a way for me to venture outside, november was to see some other changes in that side of me, but at the time it had been years without me venturing past my door except by force – turns out some forces work better than others at doors that get stuck
