I know how the switch is pulled off,
that the next pass through's an obvious con.
I just want to feel it when he flips it back on.
He's got residue under his fingernails
with that whole time he's got no alibi for.
If it were me, wouldn't I go back for more?
"You must keep moving," it's said, "for it to work.
Then you must make it stop dead still to make it hold."
To look at me, you'd think he had me already sold.
That dry run's used to set the whole con up
so the second's bait comes off as being real.
I knew that going in, it had that funny feel.
I'm told my vision's suspect. As if this rings true,
this therapy bit that builds trust by making me doubt.
Flip the switch: I came into it getting out.
